The clouds have cleared away
It's promising a day of fun
Listen to the rising sun
So reaching out to me and you
It's warmth from the sky so blue
It's gonna be a brand new day
There's nothing you or I can say
To bring it down to the ground
Except to accept its playful call
So get up and greet it one and all
Skip to my Lou wont you too
Push me on the old tree swing
Find me with your Marco Polo
Will you count on the counting tree?
When we play hide n seek
And if I win will you sing
Ole Ole Ox you all are free
So much fun in the sun
We hate to see it when it's done
The colors of the dusk do run
Waiting for our hotdog buns
The kids still wearing their ice cream feast
While the night gives the perfect breeze
Sitting by the bright camp fire
Stoking it so it won't burn down
Nothing like the stories told
Finally time to for it end
So it can all begin again
