The Darkness has Over-grown

Laying here where the thunder rolls
off the windows of my mind it sews
day and night and night and day
it's never gonna stop don't you know

and when i rest in my new home
where the grass is always green
it's not matter if there's sun or rain
I wont  even feel their muffled feet
while their all walking right over me

why didn't we say our good byes
when we had the chance in front of me
why didn't we have it out instead of keeping it in
so now it's all sealed up for an eternity

and i don't know where i'll go
Up or down
it's a mystery from what I've done

and i don't know if i'll be sad or glad
Good or bad
you see it was all just a blur 
all the while thinking i was protecting you

somehow i can still hear them
even though their voices are faint
i don't want to let them go
but i know i have to make the plunge
dive right in and make the scene

you know
nothings familiar until it's seen
but the darkness has over grown
what was left for me to peek
so now that i'm 6 feet under
no one can hear me scream
