Singing and whistling my happy tune

While working my day away

I hear the people talking about me
saying that I’ve really gone off the deep end

"Oh...he's really gone and done it this time"

"Oh...he's totally lost it for sure"

They converse ever so quietly when I’m around
and then confer with each other when I’m walking away.

Well I have to keep walking and smiling,
knowing they don't even have a clue.

With my luck I’ll be at the airport
when my ship finally comes in

Yea at times I can be rather nutty
But that's a flavor you love to chew
