It's A Roller Coaster

Big city lights are all the same
dimly lighted so you can play the game
I'm on the hunt, I'm on the run
spending all my time and nights looking for you

Black top streets and dirty back roads
every where they say it's being sold
get there just behind you, I'm closing in
something tells me inside
you're just around the next bend

Please, don't hold me responsible
I tried my best to keep you from those demons
the ones haunting you, constantly calling out your name

And please, don't thinks it's incomprehensible
plenty of people know, what it takes to shake them
hiding their heads underneath their pillows
waiting for the daybreak, hoping for tomorrow

your heart and soul begging for another chance to live

but i knew we would have this day
always there waiting to haunt us

I'm holding on, hoping this thing won't come between us
I could see the happiness in your eyes slowly fading
those dreams, the ones that we shared, turning grey now
